Author's Note: Waking up in the morning with your family and opening gifts. Also, you can celebrate Jesus' birth. You might have special traditions or memories in your family. Do those mean a lot to you because you lost a family member or is it special for a reason?
Christmas it’s about Jesus’ birth and spending it with your family, I remember when my family would spend Christmas Day and Christmas Eve with us watching us open presents. I really loved it when I would wake up and see my family then drive to Illinois to go to my Uncle’s house. Every year when I go there my dad’s whole side is there. Once, every one is there my Uncle hides a pickle in the tree. I remember finding it and getting $10 from my other Uncle. After, that we would hand out gifts and it turns out when you turn 10 in my family you can start getting junk gifts. Junk gifts in my family is giving out stuff you don’t want anymore such as card board boxers and you say its from someone famous to be funny. When I was younger I wasn’t able to get junk gifts so when I turned 10 I was happy. I was happy because I got junk gifts and it was the last Christmas I got to have with my Uncle before he died. That was the best year for Christmas so far.
